Is your mobility scooter playing up but you are not sure what is wrong? Our non-warranty diagnosis service takes the guesswork out. East Riding Mobility will collect your scooter, carry out a thorough fault-finding inspection and tell you exactly what needs fixing. The diagnosis costs just £25 with free collection and return across East Yorkshire.
Your £25 covers a full diagnostic inspection at our workshop plus free collection and return to your door. We test the battery system, motor, controller, electrics, brakes, steering and tyres to pinpoint the fault. Once we have identified the issue, we contact you with a clear explanation of the problem and a quote for the repair. No repair work is carried out without your approval. The diagnosis fee does not include the cost of any repairs or parts.
If your scooter is due a check-up anyway, our Mobility Scooter Service is the smarter option. For just £30 we carry out a complete health inspection covering batteries, motor, tyres, brakes, lights and steering. If there is an underlying fault, we will find it during the service and let you know. That means you get a full service and a diagnosis for just £5 more than the standalone diagnosis. Most customers choose this route because it covers everything in one visit.
This non-warranty diagnosis is ideal if your scooter has a specific fault and you just want to know what is wrong before committing to a repair. Common reasons customers book a diagnosis include scooters that will not start, unexpected loss of power, warning lights on the dashboard, unusual noises from the motor and batteries that will not hold charge. If your scooter has had a recent service and a new problem has appeared, a standalone diagnosis avoids paying for checks you have already had.
If the diagnosis involves tyre or wheel-related faults, please note we can only work on scooters with split rim wheels. If your scooter does not have split rim wheels and the fault is tyre-related, we will be unable to complete that part of the inspection and will arrange a refund. If you are unsure, please get in touch before ordering.
We are unable to carry out diagnosis or repairs on Green Power or Veleco branded scooters or electric bikes. If you own one of these brands, we recommend contacting the manufacturer directly.
This non-warranty diagnosis service covers the East Yorkshire area including Hull, Beverley, Driffield, Bridlington, Hornsea, Withernsea, Goole, Howden, Pocklington, Market Weighton and surrounding villages.
